GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR HAYWOOD HOUSE

Congratulations to the Newton Housing Authority on the ceremonial groundbreaking for Haywood House, a 55-unit affordable residential building for seniors at 111 JFK Circle Newton, Massachusetts. On April 27, 2021, the following lenders provided loans in the aggregate amount of $7,840,900.00 to support the development of the project: the Commonwealth of Massachusetts acting by and through the Department of Housing and Community Development, for itself and as agent for the following lenders: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting by and through the Department of Housing and Community Development under the Affordable Housing Trust Fund Statute, M.G.L. c.121D, by the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency, as administrator; Massachusetts Housing Partnership Fund Board, as agent for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting by and through the Department of Housing and Community Development under the Housing Stabilization and Investment Trust Fund Statute, M.G.L. c. 121F; Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation; the Newton Community Development Authority, an agency organized and existing pursuant to Chapter 705 of the Acts of 1975, and Chapter 121B of the General Laws of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as amended, acting by and through its Sole Member and/or designated staff but without personal liability to the Sole Member and/or the staff; and the City of Newton, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting by and through the Director of Planning & Development. 

Haywood House will provide 55 units of affordable housing to seniors in the City of Newton.
